First things first! The museum is located in Stuttgart, on Mercedes St.

We chose to take the train to the museum. As we live in a different city we first had to arrive to Stuttgart. Well after a couple of train rides we were at the very door. The initial plan was to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum, then move on to the Porsche Museum. When we noticed how large the building was, we decided to postpone our trip to Porsche Museum.

Lets begin, shall we?

The museum ticket price was 10 EUR, that is March 2022 pricing I must also add. After a quick vaccination check followed by a ID check we moved on to buy the tickets. There was a brief line, but we did arrive sometime after 13.30.

In the entrance, backpacks and coats are locked into see through cabinets. Then you are expected to take the lifts.

The museum has 8 levels. You start at the very top and move downward. On each level, you can see how Mercedes-Benz as a brand has evolved throughout history. The museum also portrays global events that has happened in relation to the brand. I must also add, the museum has bunch of pretty cars on platforms and I strongly recommend taking photos.

Apart from the main museum exhibition, there are several galleries that have specialized exhibitions. The museum also has a cafe and a restaurant and not to forget a museum shop.

The museum building is also something to admire, it has been designed by UNStudio van Berkel & Bos, Amsterdam. The company has won the design contest for the museum. The design of the museum is based on a cloverleaf.

See you in another city!
